London, the capital city, is the most populous city in the United Kingdom. Standing on the banks of the River Thames, London has been a major settlement for over two millenia. London is a metropole and a leading global city with strengths in arts, commerce, fashion, entertainment, media, tourism,… That’s why we think at Belvicci that it’s never a bad idea to visit this ever-changing city.

The London skyline is iconic! The tower of London, the Tower bridge, the Palace of Westminster, St.-Margaret’s Westminster Abbey and St.-Paul’s Cathedral are but a few of London’s magnificent buildings which have stood the test of time. One of the most recent additions is the Shard, a striking 87-storey skyscraper.

Lately there’s been a lot of debate on the London skyline as at least eight new towers will be added within the next fifteen years, changing the view of this metropole for ever.

London is one of the greenest capitals in the world. One of the best things of London is it’s abundance of open spaces and the fact that you can visit these majestic parks for free. Take a relaxing stroll in Regent’s Park, or move faster by cycling, skating or skateboarding on one of the designated paths in Hyde Park. Visit the oldest of the Royal parks, Greenwich Park, or the once private gardens of Kensington Palace, Kensington Gardens.
