FODOR’S GO LIST 2019

‘Fodor’s Travel’ announced their ‘to go list’ for 2015. There’s a wide range of luxurious destinations from all over the world, emerging hot spots, locations that are hosting special events in 2015 and more.

Belvicci filtered out two can’t-miss spots Fodor thinks should be on every traveler’s radar in 2015 in Europe.

PIEDMONT, ITALY

Piedmont is a land of mountains. It’s enclosed on three sides by the Alps. The mountains create incredibly beautiful landscapes. The Alps form the background for pitoresque valleys.

It’s recently granted UNESCO world heritage status. The vineyards of the Langhe – Roero and Montferrato region produce Barolo, a bold red wine that’s also called ‘the king of wines.’ Driving from the town of Barolo to Milan gives one a great idea of the terrain, the gently rolling hills, and the vineyards.

Milan is a seething metropolis with a very rich past. It’s Italy’s city of the furture. With the prospect of hosting Expo 2015, Milan is suddenly back in fashion the big way. From May 1st 2015 just untill October 31th  2015, Milan will be flooded with visitors expecting to experience what Milan does best: food, fashion, wine and innovation.

That’s why we at Belvicci strongly advice when visiting the rural rich landscapes of Piedmont, to not miss out on the new capital of culture!

PARIS, FRANCE

The city of light buzzes with new sights and luxury hotels.

Paris has a timeless familiarity for first-time and frequent visitors, but for those of you who think they know Paris, think again, 2014 was a year of change.

There are new buildings changing the cityscape for good. Classics have been revitalized: the Picasso museum reopened.  Some of the most luxurious hotels have upped their game since the reopening of the Plaza Athenee in August 2014.  We also anticipate the reopening of the celebtrated Ritz and Hôtel de Crillon.
